Honest scope

What we don’tdo yet.

Developer trust dies the moment a docs page quietly contradicts a landing page. So here is the anti-landing-page: everything we don’t offer today, labeled as early access, planned, or never — each with what to do instead. When something here ships, it moves to the docs; nothing on this site is “coming soon” fine print.

Live card processing for everyone

Early access

We are in private preview. The sandbox is open to all; live mode runs through the design-partner program while launch partner rails are contracted.

Instead: Integrate against the sandbox today — it is the same API — and apply for the design-partner program from the dashboard after KYB.

Direct stablecoin acceptance (buyer pays USDC, you receive it)

Early access

Gated on a signed settlement-partner contract. We don’t ship a “pay with USDC” button until underpayment, overpayment, late payment and refund-destination flows are contracted and built — half-shipped crypto acceptance is how merchants lose money.

Instead: Card-to-crypto settlement covers the “get paid in crypto” outcome today for approved merchants.

Any-in / any-out treasury

Planned

Accept anything, hold balances, convert, and pay out anything — this requires a deeper regulatory posture and our treasury phase. Until then that claim would be marketing fiction, so you won’t find it on this site.

Instead: Settlement choice per payout destination (bank or wallet) covers most crossover needs now.

Instant payouts

Planned

Payouts are T+1 by default where the partner rail supports it, with no minimums. Instant payouts arrive later as a paid feature — exactly that, and we won’t quietly rebrand “fast-ish” as instant.

Instead: T+1 with no minimum means small balances never get stranded waiting for a threshold.

Subscriptions & recurring billing

Planned

Subscriptions-lite (simple recurring charges on saved methods) is on the roadmap. Full billing — proration, metered usage, invoicing engines — is not something we’ll do half-well.

Instead: One-time payments, payment links and the API are live; bring your own scheduler against the API if you need recurring today.

Merchant-of-record & tax remittance

Not building

We are payments infrastructure, not a reseller of your product. You remain the merchant of record, which keeps your pricing, your customer relationship and your data yours.

Instead: Our docs explain OSS/VAT obligations plainly, we integrate tax-calculation APIs, and we refer merchants who want liability off their books to dedicated MoR providers.

Point of sale

Not building

Online-first. Terminals, card readers and in-person stacks are a different business we’d do badly.

Instead: Payment links + QR codes cover light in-person use surprisingly well.

NFT checkout

Not building

The market spoke. We build for durable crossover commerce, not for reviving 2021.

Instead: Digital-goods merchants are exactly our segment — through the normal checkout.

US merchants

Planned

EEA-first, deliberately: it’s where the crossover gap is widest and where we’re building the compliance story properly. US expansion has its own licensing reality and comes later.

Instead: EEA entities can onboard; US-only businesses should not build on us yet — we’d rather say so now.
